Frequently asked questions
Do you accept paid placements?
No. Inclusion is decided by the verification checks, not by payment. Commission comes only from ref-tagged links on rows that already passed.
How often is content updated?
Weekly for catalogue data and the status date; guides are revisited when a platform mechanic changes or a reader reports an error.
Do you use AI to write pages?
We use software for data and drafting assistance, but every page is reviewed by the desk and every number is checked against source data before publishing.
Policy
Editorial policy
Our sourcing rules, verification steps, independence from the affiliate partner, use of software, correction policy and update cadence — written down so readers can judge the work.
What we source and from where
Catalogue facts — product names, images, item IDs, reference prices — come from sheetquik.com, the partner site this directory promotes. Platform mechanics (warehouse QC, consolidation, freight lines) come from the platform’s own documentation and from our own order history.
We do not copy other directories’ prose. Where a number comes from a page we link to it; where it comes from our own check, the page carries the check date.
How we verify before publishing
Every build re-tests product images and product URLs, and drops rows that fail. Prices are re-converted and re-labelled with the check date. Counts on brand and category pages are generated from the same verified set, so a count can never be larger than the rows that actually resolve.
Guides are fact-checked against the same catalogue: if a guide says a category ships light, the claim has to survive a look at the weights in that category.
Independence and affiliate disclosure
The site earns commission through <code>ref</code>-tagged links. Commission never decides inclusion, ordering or the tone of a verdict, and we do not accept payment for placement. Every page carries an <a href="/affiliate-disclosure/">affiliate disclosure</a> and every outbound link is marked <code>rel="sponsored"</code>.
When we think a category is not worth buying — heavy, low-margin or high-return-risk — we say so, even though that costs us the click.
Use of software and AI
We use software for fetching, image validation, price conversion and sitemap generation, and we use language tooling to draft and tighten some explanatory copy. Every page is reviewed by the desk before publishing, and claims that could mislead a buyer — prices, counts, shipping figures — are checked against the source data rather than generated.
If a page is substantially machine-drafted and only lightly edited, we do not publish it. The directory is small on purpose: 50-odd pages that survive a check beat 5,000 that do not.
Corrections and updates
Corrections are logged in the build that fixes them; the status date on the page moves when the page changes. If a correction changes a price, a count or a link, we fix it within the week. If you spot something wrong, the <a href="/contact/">contact page</a> explains what to send.
Pages are re-checked weekly. A page that cannot be re-verified is rewritten or removed rather than left to age.
